Fabric & construction

The weave

Woven in Turkey from a bamboo and cotton blend on a jacquard loom, so the Cloud pattern is built into the structure of the cloth rather than printed onto it. A fine satin band is woven between the patterned border and the body pile, separating the two. The long edges are woven selvedges rather than cut and stitched, so there is no raw edge to fray.

Bamboo cotton

These are a bamboo and cotton blend rather than pure cotton, and they do not develop the smell cotton towels can. They dry out between uses instead of holding damp in the pile. The blend also gives the surface a smoother handle than cotton alone, without the crispness a heavy cotton towel has when new.

Care

Machine wash warm

Wash at 30–40°C with a mild liquid detergent. Wash new towels before first use.

No fabric softener or bleach

Softener coats the pile and reduces absorbency. Bleach and optical brighteners weaken the fibre over time.

Tumble dry low

Tumble on low to medium, or line dry. Shake the towel out before drying to lift the pile.
