A charcoal euro in the Palazzo quilting, sized at 65 x 65 cm to stand behind standard pillows and carry height up the head of the bed.
In charcoal it reads as a block of colour and texture rather than blending into the pillows in front of it, so it works best where the rest of the bed is plain and the euro is doing the contrast.
About the quilting
Each quilted pillowcase is quilted through the whole face, with a soft batting held between the face cloth and a cotton backing.
Face cloth, fill weight, trim and closure differ between the Resort and Orcia ranges. The specifications for this piece are set out below.

Fabric & construction
The pillowcase
The all-over Palazzo quilting in charcoal, so the euro reads as a defined block of colour and texture at the head of the bed rather than blending into the pillows in front of it. Closed with concealed buttons on a placket rather than an exposed row or a zip, which keeps the quilted face uninterrupted and means nothing hard sits against a pillow.
The piping
Covered corded piping is run to the full edge over a 1.5mm soft cord. It defines the outline of the euro against whatever sits behind it, and it also does structural work: a corded edge takes the handling and the laundering that a plain seamed edge would absorb, so the perimeter holds its shape.

Care
Machine wash 30 to 40C
Wash with a mild liquid detergent and rinse well. Avoid fabric softeners.
Tumble dry medium
Dry on medium heat, or line dry out of direct sunlight.
Do not bleach
Bleach and optical brighteners are not suitable for the sateen face or the piping cord.
